Corna Kokosing Construction Company is the largest self-performing general contractor in Central Ohio. With a large workforce and access to more than $165 million of equipment, we have the resources to perform a wide variety of construction services such as:

Our self-performing capabilities give us greater control over scheduling for the duration of the project. We can rely on our own forces, rather than have to wait for a subcontractor’s availability. The result is a quicker response, greater flexibility, and increased productivity – oftentimes allowing us to work ahead of schedule.

With Self-Perform: The ability to use our company-owned resources allows us to better control quality, schedule, and costs. Additionally, with fewer subcontractors on site, the margin for a safety error is greatly reduced.

Without Self-Perform: Our trade competencies, combined with our management skills, provide us with a solid understanding of estimating, scheduling of labor/material/equipment and productivity. Even if we do not self-perform on a particular job, but rather, subcontract a trade, our acute knowledge of these trades gives us superior ability to minimize and solve problems.

Corna Kokosing is the only general contractor in Central Ohio to offer in-house apprenticeship training that is accredited by the Ohio State Apprenticeship Council and the US Department of Labor’s Federal Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training. Our three-year program has received both state and national awards and is offered at no cost to any associate wishing to earn Journeyman status. This thorough training allows us to provide the highest quality craftsmanship to our customers.
